Time intervals of the GPS signal

How often / at what intervals does BikeTrax send the location?

  • During movement:
When your bike is moving, BikeTrax sends a current signal every 10 seconds.

  • When stationary:
If the bike is not moving, BikeTrax switches to standby mode to save power.

  • When the bike is moved again:
As soon as the bike is moved again, BikeTrax activates automatically and sends the location again every 10 seconds. There may be a slight delay of a few more seconds before the first signal is received.

This keeps your bike in view at all times without consuming energy unnecessarily.

Last GPS position is not correct

The last displayed position / location does not match the current position

Switch on your bike and shake it briefly in the open air so that the BikeTrax wakes up from standby mode.
After a few minutes, the current position should be displayed correctly in the app again.
